Voice input is really slow -- "waiting for results"

The voice input on the keyboard of my phone is REALLY slow to generate any results. It's simply "listening" while I speak, with no results being shown. When I click "done", it takes 30-45 seconds of "waiting for results" before the text appears. When it shows up, the text is accurate.

I'm on wifi, and everything else on the phone is very fast. Any thoughts?
