Voice mail incon on home screen

I am wondering how I can place a VoiceMail Icon on my Home Screen?

Anyone have any idea? I know you can press the PHONE Icon and then the icon in the lower left but I would like to place a VoiceMail only Icon on the Home Screen...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Look in Call Settings (in Settings) for your voicemail number (write it down). Add a contact for that number (label it Voice Mail).

Now go out to the desktop and long-press a blank area. Tap Widgets. Look for "direct dial". Choose your voice dial contact. Move the icon to wherever you like.
