When I get a voice mail I push play and when I put the phone up to my ear the voice mail shuts off and phone goes to the lock screen. The only way to hear my voice mail is on speaker phone. Any suggestions on how to fix this? I guess it has something to do with the phone screen shutting off when the phone is up agains your ear. The phone works fine on a regular call

That depends on how your carrier sets things up, because voice mail is a normal phone call to a normal phone number. Try long-pressing 1 (as if you were going to make a phone call) - that should bring you to your carrier's voice mail slot for your phone number.

That is the motion sensor, there is an option to turn that OFF which I have done on my phone.
That is soooooooooooo damn aggravating.

I have turned OFF all motion sensing, /NFC, all of it. None of that stuff is any good for someone who keeps their phone in their pocket.

The sensor that senses you body capacitance.

However, there is are ways to totally defeat that screen going black.

1) turn on the Speakerphone

2) use bluetooth.

How do you turn that sensor off? I know I can use speakerphone but I don't really want to use it in public
