Is there a voice recorder app for Android that adds metadata tags to its recordings? More specifically, I mean one that maybe gives recordings something like an album title to make it easier to browse them in, for instance, a music player app on another device.
At the moment I am using Samsung’s Voice Recorder. This allows you to assign a category to each recording. The problem is that this information is not stored in the file itself, which means that I can’t transfer my recordings to another device in order to browse them using another app without jumbling all the audio notes for my various projects together. What I really want to do is to be able to add more tags to the files so that I can subcategorise them, and also to organise them into albums alongside audio files made by other applications.
At the same time, it is essential that the app be effortless to use as a normal voice recorder.
Is there anything that would fit the bill?
