voice volume

I dont know if this is a ROM/kernel thing or what, but lately nobody can hear me whan I talk. Signal/location makes zero difference, I practically need to yell into my phone for anybody to hear anything I'm saying. Voodoo Sound problem maybe? Anyone have any idea, because its becoming quite the problem.

Figures. I would come up with an issue nobody has any thoughts on. Today's project is going to be a complete re-flash of a new ROM/Kernel to see if it solves this, among several other issues I'm encountering lately (not the least of which is having to pull the battery every couple hours), I just need to decide what I want to try next lol. I KNOW I read about this being a problem that sometimes happens with...something, but I can't remember or find again what it was (ROM, Kernel, Voodoo), so I'm just gonna replace everything and try a new whole build lol.

Well I reflashed with MidNIGHT, problem is still there. The mic picks up sound during recording or anything else perfectly fine, but nobody can hear me at the other end still unless I'm damn near yelling into the phone, good signal or bad. What gives?
