Voicemail messages pending, won't send and can't be deleted. Please help

[AC Question]

Just got an S7 edge. I keep getting a little message at the bottom saying "1 Message Pending Delivery". I check my voicemail and it says there are unsent messages. I tried to resend them, nothing. I tried to delete them, but one of them is about "Visual Voicemail Avatar", which I don't care about at all, but it says because it's about Visual Voicemail Avatar that it cannot be deleted.

Feel like I have tried everything and am at wit's end.

Welcome to Android Central! If you don't use Visual Voicemail, are you able to Disable it in the App Manager?

No, Visual Voicemail is not in my list of apps in the app manager. The regular voicemail is, though I couldn't find any options that helped there. Thoughts?

Sorry, but I'm not sure how your phone's messaging works. It's odd that there would be "unsent" voicemail messages--I usually associate unsent messages with the SMS/MMS app.
