Voicemail notification after update

has any one figured out how to clear the notification? I've been doing the setting-call-clear notification but its getting quite annoying because I'm having to do it all the time. any suggestions?

Give it time. It should go away on its own. It has been almost 48 hours since the last one I got.

Mine has been doing it for 4 days now. I will have to agree it's becoming a pain to deal with.

Sprint is running a short term solution at the moment to help clear this flag. There's nothing you can do on your phone other than clearing the notification in post 1 and 2. An upcoming maintenance release in the next week will completely solve the problem.

Basically, they forgot to ignore the mail flag on the voice mail system. Phones using visual voicemail are supposed to ignore the regular voicemail flag that there's a message to be picked up.
