Voicemail Notification Icon on Moto G Power?

For some reason, I do not see my visual notification icon when someone leaves me a voicemail.

I should have it based on my settings.

People are always leaving me voicemails so I need to have that notification.

New phone with Xfinity Mobile.

Open your Phone app, tap Menu>Settings>Call Settings>Voicemail, and see what's listed as the Voicemail Number. I think Xfinity Mobile uses *86 -- is that what you see?

There is no visual voicemail app on the phone.

Go to the Battery Optimization menu in the system settings and make sure that Voicemail system app is not optimized.

I use a third party phone app (True Phone).

Can't imagine the phone app would have anything to do with the notifications as that should be a system voicemail setting but I will try it.

I will uninstall / re-install and report back tomorrow.

Try the stock one as well

I uninstalled and then reinstalled my 3rd party phone app (True Phone Dialer) and it now works.

I thought the notification icon was more of a system setting then an app setting, but I wrong.

All seems fine now.
