Received my 6P last night and am really enjoying this phone.
The one problem that I have run into is that I get no notification light for missed call or voicemail. I'm on Verizon and have disabled the Visual Voicemail because I was not getting voice mail but instead garbled text messages. Once disabled my voice messages come through fine.
Many times my phone is on silent and sitting on a table across the room, my old phones would blink to let me know I had missed a call or had a voice mail message waiting.
I have the notification light on in the Settings. I called Google about this and they had no answer. They sent me an email and the notification light was working for that, but no matter what I try I can not get a blinking light for voicemail or missed calls.
I've searched the forum and seen that some people are using Light Flow. I've downloaded the app and it works for the Voicemail and Missed Calls, BUT if I can get the phone to notify me without using a third party app I would prefer to do so.
Any suggestions?
