Is the way voicemail operates carrier specific or brand of phones? Trying to figure out why switching from my htc to nexus phone , the voicemail are different. Any way to change how it operates ? I hate it now. Takes way to long to access it . I don't want to hear time,date and callback number. Just let me hear the damn message

Once you make the call to the voicemail number things are just carrier specific.

Been using YouMail on my phones for a few years now. Very reliable, personal. I like it.
