Voicemail to email?

I'm about to leave the country for a couple of weeks. Is there any way to have voicemail (which I won't get) transfer to email (which I can receive) through my Samsung Mesmerize?

If you have a Google Voice account, you can have your Mez no-answer-forward to GV voicemail. Google will transcribe it and e-mail it to you.

That does sound like a good possibility, although do be prepared for some humourous transcriptions!
