Voicemail update?

So my phone keeps wanting to update the sprint voicemail,and it won't update. Annoyingly the notification won't go away. I don't use it, use Google voice. Any suggestions on updating the app, removing it or any other remedy?

You can completely remove it if that's what you would like to do. Look in data/app or system/app for some apk named sprint_vvm.apk,com.core.mobilty.apk or something like that delete it.If it's in data/app then you can delete it with any file manager if it's in system/app you will have to use root explorer or adb to remove it.

Yes it's safe to remove.

I tried to delete it but it says it can't...I guess I found the package installer not the apk...

You can delete it if you find the right apk. Look for (Sprint_VVM.apk or com.core.mobility.vnotes.apk)

I had the same issue trying to delete it. You can message Jerzy and ask him. He helped me figure it out. In my case there was more to it than locating and deleting.
