VoLTE not available?

Hello everyone!

I just as of recently got my LG V30S ThinQ (H930) not long ago and I enjoying this phone as of right now.

However, I do not understand why this phone is missing HD Voice/VoLTE function when I make calls?
I know this has nothing to do with my SIM Card nor my location(Norway) since my previous phone, Sony Experia XZ had VoLTE available and was active during calls. It displayed HD and the quality was crisp during my calls with people.

Now, when I make calls to people with my LG phone, it sometimes has the quality of
a gramophone. (Not really, but you get my point, low audio quality)

I am also located in a fully covered area. Same place where I live and used my previous phone, so coverage isn't an issue either. I get 4G+ on average where I am residing.

Any help would be amazing, thanks!

Welcome to Android Central! Is it the EU version of the H930? This thread (which is waaaay over my head) seems to indicate that the EU variant doesn't support VoLTE out of the box, and that you have to jump through a lot of hoops to get it working: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/how-to/guide-volte-vowifi-functional-available-t3834267
