Hi, I bought an S22 unlocked phone in the US. I am now in Mexico using a Mexican SIM card from a Mexican provider. I am able to make calls (not Wi-Fi calls) and surf the internet. My provider tells me that the SIM card supports VoLTE; however, I do not see any VoLTE option on my phone (Settings > Connections > Mobile Networks > Network mode). Is there a way to fix this? I would appreciate any help.

Not all carriers show whether you're using VoLTE or not. It's just automatic.

If it's not using VoLTE, the phone would drop to 3G or maybe H+ during a call. That's what they used to use for voice calls before VoLTE.

Have you spoken to your wireless provider's support line to make sure their service supports VoLTE on that specific variant?

If you can find "SIM Card Status", possibly somewhere in "About Phone" > "Status Information", look for the following.

If "IMS Registration Status" is "Registered", and "Mobile voice network type" is "LTE", then you're fine. It's using VoLTE.

Mobile voice network type only says 4G
