Volume control does not work unless I restart the phone. Android 7.1.1 installed. No problems before the update. BETA participant. Anyone else had this issue with Beta participant phone.???

Do you mean that the volume buttons do nothing? Are you able to access the volume sliders in the Settings>Sound menu?

I recently experienced a problem with the volume buttons on my 6P where they didn't do anything. It cleared up after a reboot and didn't come back. Your problem keeps returning?

Mine did that after update to 7.1.1. I believe I went in to settings, accessibility , and switch access and turn it off. Mine started working after that.

Huh. The ironic thing is that I had to turn on Switch Access in order to re-enable the "bah-deep" tone after saying "Ok Google.":-\

So did I. Had to turn it off to get volume controls to work. I run nova launcher. Come to find out, in accessibility there is a nova launcher switch that has to be enabled. Once I did that, my ok Google beep came back. I was juiced.
