Hi, I'll listen to music on my GS4 and during one song, the volume will be somewhat low- so I turn it up. Then when the next song plays- IT BLASTS MY EARS!

Does anyone know of an app that will go into my audio files and optimize the volume levels for each song?

Is the song in the same format/media as the rest? Sounds like song might have been recorded at a lower Sound volume and it's playing lower than the rest as you are experiencing. I don't think there is a way to fix that other than to obtain another version of the song.

They all are the same format. I do use an app called "Music Maniac". Would that be the cause? This is the only place I receive my music.

Some where along the line in setting up the sound on my S4, I was asked if I wanted to normalize the volume of the sound files and I turned that feature on. All my MP3's now play at the same volume from the phone.....

I was having the same issue but now I use the power amp application, paid version and it allows you in the settings to play all the songs at the same volume.
