As most of you know, the Nexus is a quiet little droid. Thanks to Volume+ though, I was able to actually hear my phone on a busy work day. However after updating to Jelly Bean the app no longer works for ringtones (I think it works for certain media though). Any alternatives? I thought the app would be updated with a fix but it doesn't look like it so far..

I received a reply from the developer and here's what he said: "I'm currently in correspondence with someone working at Google about the possibility of a workaround, but at the moment (and for the near future) it isn't looking good."

Hmm well that's not very encouraging. Guess I have to start looking for alternatives..

Please let us know, so far I've come up with a lot of nothing. Everything I've seen so far doesn't work.

i was just about to search on the market for something to remedy the volume problem with mine.

oy. hopefully it gets resolved. i've missed several calls b/c of the volume being too low. (working in a warehouse with duplication equipment doesn't help, i know)

Check out XDA Gnex forums. There is an app called Nexus Louder. It worked very well for me. Plus the Dev is always updating it. It's in the Galaxy Nexus Themes and Apps section.

The low volume of this phone is it's one glaring defect, IMO. Mainly because it is so inexplicable; I've owned several Samsung phones and none have had low volume issues.
