Volume goes almost dead while on phone

Anybody having this issue? Almost every time I use my phone now the volume will fluctuate between normal and almost completely inaudible. I don't have time until at least Tuesday to possibly go to Verizon. So far turning it off and back on seems to knock it off for a few phone calls.

First I've heard of this one . Have you tried clearing the cache or a FDR . I would try clearing the cache first and see what happens .

Advanced calling turned on or not? If it's on, does turning it off help?
