Volume moves down on its own to off

My phone will reduce ring volume during the day to zero without me doing anything. Any suggestions?

My S4 mini does that occasionally when it is in my pocket or when i handle it unselfconsciously. The volume button on the left edge may get pressed.

Try Volume Ace from the Play Store
You can set up profiles and schedules
as well as Lock the Ringer so what you're describing doesn't happen.
