Volume Muted but Still Hear Sounds

I had the volume muted and Do not Disturb was on, but still heard sound from a video. Same for games. Digging through the menus i found that mute only silences system sounds. Notifications and media sound still are active. Is there a quick way to mute all sounds or do I need to go digging through the menus every time?

I downloaded a free app called "Mute All". With 1 click, it does what it says.
