Works on my G Pro just fine. Doesn't make it much louder, but you can definitely hear a difference when you change the EQ settings.

Go to settings and choose maximum allowed boost and choose 100%
Uncheck non-uniform boost. .

You will hear the difference...

I checked sound settings and was unable to find uniform boost. Can you explain where to find, sorry new to Android.

Thanks for the screen shot, but I have checked every settings Menu and I do not see this list. Can you list list the steps? This was not under the four tabbed lists (Networks, Sound, Display or General). I have an At&t LG version of the G Pro.

He's talking about the settings on the app, not your phone. Open the app, then hit the menu tab. That's where you will find it.

I noticed the app gives a warning saying high boosts can potentially damage the speakers, is this something we should be worried about or is it just a very mild precaution?

Doesn't work. Attempting to increase volume just distorts the audio without increasing the volume. That's the typical failure mode for these apps. Or it simply doesn't do anything.
