volume problem.

Every time I watch a video & I get a notification the volume of the video goes a bit quiet but the video stays at the same volume & I have to turn the video up then back down to the original volume I had it at. Only way to solve this is to put the phone on silent but still have media volume on. Is there any other way to solve this? This happened before updating to 9.0 too so it's not an android pie bug.
