Volume switch behavior

Anyone know why when using the volume rocker switches if I push and hold to silent or vibrate it also does the notification volume which is good however when I go to bring the volume back up via on the rocker switch it only brings the ringtone volume up and keeps the notification volume either on silent or vibrate.

I've just tried this on my s9+ and it works fine. When I put the volume back up the notification volume goes up as well.
Maybe you have an app that controls the volumes?

Interesting but no I do not have an app that has anything to do with volume.

Open the camera, go to the Settings, select Volume Key Function and change it to what you want.
