Anyone have this happen? Does this mean I have to send it in for repair? Anyone know what Samsung charges?

No other fix but to send it back to Samsung. Most likely a hardware issue. If your tab is less than a year old you should still be under warranty. They should fix it for free. Give them a call and see.

That's what I did. Sucks. You don't realize how addicted you are to your Tab until you have to give it up for a week.
