I think Iam finally got the balls to root, and I was wondering if I should do the voodoo or nonvoodoo version of the superclean 2.7. Thanks in advance.... One more thing, will the dummy tether module allow me to tether my phone undetected?

Nonvoodoo it is....... Iam still a little confused on the tethering.

On the Voodoo, good choice, you might as well hold off on it for now. Without the sound and graphic fixes, it's just down to the supposed lag fix which, honestly, is overrated. I tried it, I really wanted to like it, but in the end, I honestly couldn't tell any objective difference between Voodoo and non-Voodoo, and my phone had no lag to begin with (well, after removing all the bloat that is...).

Maybe once the source is released and the devs are able to roll all the Voodoo features into a nice undervolted kernel it'll be worth trying, but for now, it really doesn't offer much you'll really notice.

I have flashed 4 different voodoo kernels since dl05 and to be honest it wasnt worth it. My phone seemed laggy and the battery life was horrible. The latest voodoo with SC 2.6 was the worst for battery life. Flashed the non voodoo kernel and the non-voodoo 2.6 and the battery life is amazing. The original advice for voodoo is correct, unless you actually NEED it dont bother with it especially since red CWM works with non voodoo kernels now. Just my $ 0.02

just a note, voodoo has nothing to do with your battery. there is another factor you havent accounted for, my advise still stands, just saying.
