hey dose anyone any idea if we have to do a wipe to install a new kernel? i just installed a new rom superclean and just set all of my stuff up. Don't no if flashing a rom and a kernel are the same thing and we have to do a wipe with both things..:-\

P.S superclean looks so good and no Verizon crape! like to see what i want to see on MY phone. have not tried the GPS Has anyone had any problems with it??

yeah dont ahve to wipe to install a kernal just install and no problems, as for the gps I have not had any problem as of yet.

You can install a kernel via rom manager if the kernel is in rom manager. Or you can DL a kernel stickied in this forum and load it up in clockwork recovery.

cool... I figured it out.. Got Adrynalyne's new kernal with DLO9 and superclean running.. runs great.. but the battery doesn't last as long.

Just a word of warning - since you appear to be new at flashing kernels, if you flashed a Voodoo kernel, you MUST disable the lagfix BEFORE flashing another non-Voodoo kernel. Otherwise it'll cause some major problems, nothing that can't be fixed, but it's best ti avoid the problem all together.
