Vortex on Verizon

So, got a vortex and been doing research, apparently it's nearly the same as Optimus S. Question is, should topics regarding the vortex go here, or will there be a new category for them soon? There are some differences i've seen, such as tethering and bing (carrier issues though) and got some work to do to change this from a bingdroid to an android (although i've got some ideas already) and one of them is, can anybody provide the search provider .apk from the /system/app folder?

Theres a vortex forum, under "more LG phones"

Also regarding the apk ... Theres a "community rom" by beezy you can download.

I have mine rooted and would be happy to help although there is not a file I can find system/apps. If you can be more specific I can look for it. Sorry, found the folder and there is a lot in there. Also I can view the details of the .apk files but I can't copy/paste/send them as far as I can tell.

what i wanna know is their any cool rom themes for the vortex yet.. if so how exactly do you load them up? just flash them?
