These are the Readers Choice Awards. Readers are supposed to vote for the phone they would choose. I bet many people are voting for phones they may have ever owner or even played with.

Some are voting for whatever phone they own and that is why the original Droid Incredible is showing up. All things being equal, how many Droid Incredible owners would really pick it over a DInc 2, Bionic, etc.?

I am saying not many; the DInc is really not what they woudl choose and yet they voted for it.

I'd choose the DInc over the Bionic because the Bionic does not exist. And that's the whole point. It absolutely shouldn't be the best phone if it's not even available for people to purchase. If "Reader's Choice" is a based on which phone a person would choose, why would they choose a phone that they can't get? Should the Bionic release on 9/8, a poll afterwards would then make sense.

The issue then is, what is the Bionic? There's been no official announcement on specs from Motorola or Verizon. Sure we've all seen leaks, rumors, etc. But, there has been nothing official on what the Bionic really is. Heck, there's still people wondering whether it has a 4.5-in screen. I suspect that the same people wondering which phone they would choose should really know all of the details of the phone before they can make an informed decision on which phone is best.

This thread has gotten fun! The question is asking readers what would you choose. If you ask people what would they like to ride, some number would say a Unicorn.

I notice that it is Dilbert who is wondering if the Bionic exists. If you asked me who I would want as a co-worker, I would say Dilbert but not Dogbert because he is too sinister. So maybe the Bionic is a Unicorn that Dilbert would want.
