VRBMF1 Update Rooted

So, I've been deferring the update since it came to my phone because it's rooted. Last time I tried an OTA update while rooted, things got weird. Is there a way I can install the update without having to unroot and reroot my phone. I'd just rather not have to go through the motions. Thanks.

(stock ROM, just have it rooted for mobile hotspot)

I used the MF1 update found at http://www.scottsroms.com/downloads.php?do=cat&id=72, flashed in recovery.

I'm rooted and installed the radio update via cwm recovery. Worked fine. Better reception in fact.

I cant seem to find the original verizon download anywhere on my sdcard nor online. Am I just being a noob?

Which "original Verizon download" are you looking for? If you just want the MF1 firmware (unrooted) you can load that via the Kies software on your PC.
