VZ Navigator Update

Just got an update for vz navigator to v.7.2

changes in menus and tools easier to use
navigation locked on in 2 seconds. [outside not in house like it used to ]

will have to play with the rest to see what else.

Why do you pay for VZ navigator when Google Navigation is built in and FREE?

What does VZ Nav have that Google doesn't?

google nav does not have live traffic updates as far as i know. Vz nav works great google did not have voice when i used it last.

Google has live traffic and I use it daily. Works Great.

3D view with overhead signs and colored lane markers is great to. but i will check out google nav and compare. Thanks for the great input i see google nav has come a long way since i used it last.

Google has voice turn by turn navigation and some areas it has 3d buildings. Cancel your vz nav and save some money

Google nav is free thats the only comparison I ever needed.

I use both Verizon Navigation and Google navigation. I like each one for different reasons. Sometimes the Verizon GPS will work better for accuracy than Google. Other times Google works better than Verizon. Actually I'm thinking of cancelling my Verizon GPS service at $10 monthly since I have pretty much found that Google navigation works wells for my needs, especially since it's free.
