VZW billing question

Hi,

I'm going to be adding a tablet to our Share Everything plan. My bill end date is the 3rd. If I do it this week (pre-3rd) are they going to bill me for the entire month of July?

No. I think that they just prorate for the amount of time you used it. So it may be like $3 or something. But worst case scenario they would just charge you the $10 for the whole month. Also I believe there is an activation fee but not sure. Haven't used Verizon since last November

Yes, they will prorate it. With regards to the activation fee, if you cancel within 3 days, it will be refunded. Should you cancel, There is a $70 restocking fee, if you bought the tablet from Verizon

Your welcome. I moved to my family's business plan on us cellular. All I ha e to pay is the $25/month for my 2GB data plan as texting and calling was included. Works great for me. Just didn't get an LTE phone and I am angry with myself I didn't.

Well, you could always haunt eBay for a phone. That's what I've been doing anyway and it's also were I got the tablet I mentioned in my post. Nice cost for your plan!

I wasn't sure I was going to like the bigger size and debated on a Note 8 but went w/th 10.1 and I think I'm in love, LOL!

Why not save yourself money? Buy a wifi enabled tablet. You won't be paying 10.00 extra a month. You can use your phone as hotspot for it. On share plan hotspot is free. I do have their mifi for having internet on my laptop...its 20 a month. Use on my tab too.
I got my tab on eBay new. Have had over 6 months love it. I use it where there is free wifi as well. I don't have home internet. Just the mifi.

Verizon tablets are non contracted now, with the exception of when they run certain deals that sometimes require a 2 year contract to receive the deal. So, on the Share Everything plan a tablet has no activation fee. This allows the customer to remove and add the tablet anytime they want. Anytime a CPE device (Customer Provided Device) is added there is no activation fee, which is what the OP's tablet would be. She is providing the device.
