VZW Cloud Backups stopped working

I am suddenly having trouble with my VZW Cloud backups. This is VERY lengthy, so bare with it. Tech support had no resolution.

I move vids, pics, music from my laptop to my Droid into the SD card dcim folder, and music folder.

Everything, until yesterday morning, backed up just fine from my SD card to the cloud.

I spent about 2 hours talking to tech support and explained dozens of times that All my SD card data was being backed up, and they kept insisting ONLY internal storage files are backed up.

I have 1400 pics, 51 videos, and 100+ songs, on my SD card, that always went to the VZ cloud. I also have 21 vids I downloaded from You Tube, etc, which I know get downloaded to my internal storage by default.

I had hundreds of old pics, video, music backed up on the cloud, and wanted a clean backup of what is only on my phone now. I deleted all pic, vid, and music files from the cloud, I was at 80% useage on it.

I also discovered, for some reason, hundreds of pics I moved from computer to phone SD card card only, are also on internal storage.

Pics I took with the phone, not many since I always use my own camera, are on internal storage too, which is right. But about 300 pics were on internal storage which I had transferred to my SD card only, not all of my 1400 pics also on my SD card are on the internal storage though.

After I deleted all media on the cloud, I did a new backup of all media, and only the some of the internal media was backed up.

This time none of my SD card media was backed up. And, it only backed up 8 of the 21 videos that are on internal media.

It is a fact, all SD data was backing up until yesterday morning, when I deleted all files from the cloud.

Any ideas how to help me out? I am completely out of luck if not.

I assume this is for your Turbo 2 that you referred to in your other recent post. My question there also applies here--did you recently update to Marshmallow, and if so, did you change the SD card to adoptable storage? http://forums.androidcentral.com/mo...002-app-move-internal-media-apps-sd-card.html

That seems like s very convoluted workflow - why not just use the Google suite of products to save files to the cloud automatically?

The VZ Cloud always backs up automatically all pics, vids, music, contacts,etc... from my device. It just stopped working suddenly the other day. Finally they got me to the Droid networking engineers who were able to fix most of the problems so we are almost through with the repair needed.
