Motorola XOOM must go back to factory for LTE upgrade; to take 6 business days | BGR | Boy Genius Report

Sorry if this has been posted somewhere deep in another thread, couldn't find it anywhere else. VZW says for the Xoom, that no changes in plans are needed after switching to LTE. Pretty sure thats an explicit confirmation of no charge of LTE right now, or in 3 months when the Xoom LTE goes live for that matter.

I know, I know, technically its not in a press release. But, in the debacle we see know as 2/24, at least data pricing looks good.

to be perfectly honest-most people here don't wanna hear about the xoom-just brings up frustrations over the tb delay

Android Central has official thread for xoom so can you please post there. Sorry for any offense just that this neither the time nor place.

I wasn't posting about the Xoom, I was using it as a reference for Verizon's stance on pricing. Figured LTE data pricing with some weight from vzw was just as relevant as what beer people are drinking and nicknames for the Thunderbolt

He was using the Zoom as an example of what the LTE pricing might be.

I don't think its a good gauge, though, since the Xoom doesn't have LTE yet.

It's also not a cell phone and that might make a difference I'm thinking.
