Xoom LTE 4g upgrade in Sept, Confirmed?

For what it is worth, I was on the phone with level 2 Verizon customer service yesterday complaining (again) about this device and the lack of upgrades etc. I was given (again) a month's credit on my Xoom data plan. Additionally, they are letting me get the new lte galaxy tab at the upgrade price.

I will miss the (potential) features of the Xoom, but have such a bad taste in my mouth over the whole debacle that it is time to count my losses and walk away.

That being said, I have a like new Xoom with a list of extras for sale. I am guessing at this point it's worth about $375. Send me a PM if you are interested.

For those who haven't heard anything yet; did you register with VZW to be notified? I bought my Xoom in April, registered for the LTE upgrade notice, and got my notification pretty immediately on the first day the emails went out.

I did the same thing - bought my Xoom on launch day at Verizon and signed up immediately to be notified about the LTE upgrade. I still have the confirm email from February confirming that I signed up to be notified, but I still haven't received anything about the upgrade.

I haven't received a email either but, I don't remember if I registered or not. All this stuff is not bothering me as much as it used to. I just won't buy anything anymore that doesn't already have everything functioning and, I probably won't buy anything from Motorola again. I have a Mifi and also a I pad 2. The Xoom is just a experimental toy for me now.

Some of you seem happy with the Xoom so I'm happy for you. It will be fun to finally get lte and see how it performs on the xoom compared to the mifi.
