Vzw data outage in tucson?

Ok so im in tucson and i was tethering my nexus to my xoom so that i wouldnt use up the data on my plan for my xoom then it stopped working. so i look to my phone and i see that i have 3 grey bars but no 4g/3g symbol
so i reboot my phone with the same problem then i go to my xoom which also has the grey bars no 4g/3g symbol i check my wifes phone(fascinate) which is the same way anyone else having this issue in tucson. BUT I CAN STILL MAKE PHONE CALLS

Lol alright i was trying to get GTA 3 to work on my nexus (also live in tucson)
And the game forced closed and that moment i lost 3g/4g and waz like crap.... did i do something..

Out here in New Jersey...needed my GPS to get home but there was an outage, but luckily my friend's 3G phone still worked.
