Vzw data throttling removable??

HI, Verizon must be throttling my phone as the data speed is only between 1/4-1/2 as fast as it used to be....totally sucks now!
Is there and way to defeat this crap from Verizon by rooting??

Yes you can, Warm z rom has a throttling mod to remove that

There's a link in the Rom's and Mods thread for a throttle remover for a bunch of different ROM's.

Unfortunately it has been confirmed by multiple people over at XDA, a couple of whom are VZW reps, that no throttling is done phone-side, all via the network. The throttle removers provide nothing more then a placebo effect. If Verizon wants to throttle you, they're going to.

I used to get 1.8-2.7Mbps down and the last couple months it dropped radically to .5-1.3Mbps.
Upload speeds don't seem to be much too slower than before, they are between .25-1.0Mbps lately.

In average im 1.5 to 2.3 and upload a consistant .7
