Thanks for the explanation/info 'OP. What you are saying seems to make sense - I would think bad press for a bug ridden phone that drops 4GLTE data (which is their current major advertising slogan) would be very bad. I want it now too, but would rather wait a week for data that operates, phones that don't reboot itself. Small bugs and issues are always expected - this is a brand new OS - the cutting edge!
The data drop doesn't sound like it's the phone's problem. This "bug" has plagued Verizon's network for the past six months. Verizon has a major problem on their hands if their network is this unreliable. It makes sense that they would delay the phone. The last thing Verizon wants is a big launch ride in the middle of a major network issue.
