There's no delay that we can hold Verizon accountable for. But there's clearly been delays. Black Friday ads for the Galaxy Nexus? This? Mattias Duarte saying "It'll be out in November" and that not happening? There's been too many screw-ups that couldn't JUST happen.
VZW reps (I know, I know, they aren't knowledgeable and can't be trusted) told me flat out today it's been pushed a few times on their side - the 9th being the obvious and most recent example. The 15th, if it sticks, was not the original/target launch date for this phone.

I want all of you to know.. I've literally been using this thing everyday for a week. And i can not tell you the amount of times my data dropped. Now I'm only in a 3g area so idk. But I was showing it to a customer today and I was able to tell him as he was using it that the data was about to drop. You can see when its coming its very strange. Now whether my location got a $h!t demo or what but its very annoying and is making me reconsider a purchase. My other store told Me they haven't seen the issue but I know for a fact no one is exhausting this the device quite like I am.
Other than that the device is gorgeous. But I feel like personally I haven't been blown away by it because I had very high expectations of it. Is it great. Yes. Screen gorgeous yes. Feel in and hand and form perfect. Yes. With concentration u can take great photos but u need patience with focusing.
I had a razr and sent it back moment I put the demo in my hand. But a part of me feels like I should have kept it until official release. Now I expected it to be the 9th so that's why I was quick. But one thing I can say is I had very low expectations on razr and it blew me away.
Past few days I havebeen using a rezound as well and have really liked it as well. I feel like with ics it will be the better and with ics you can delete bloatware
Now I'm not trolling or anything or trying to bash nexus.it will be my next device just because ics is that good and I'd rather have it now than later..but honestly the camera is mediocre. Google really needs to sacrifice that shutter speed to give the focus a little more time.

I really believe it may just be your area, or a defect with the device. Several people who have bought the device are reporting excellent signal with both 3G and 4G, and that the device switches between the two flawlessly.
A lot of people are complaining about network issues. Seems to me that Verizon's "reliable network" isn't so reliable these days.

I believe it is mine too ... thank God it isn't my personal and its the store :-D . Its just very disheartening lol.. hopefully when i get mine it will be good. My luck it won't.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant concerning the Nexus, not the network issues as of late. People who got the device early are praising how well it transfers between 3G/4G and how strong their signals are.
After what happened the 9th, I don't believe corporate will be sending out an email saying "The Nexus is releasing on ____." They'll just send an email saying the stock can now be sold. Or at most, they'll give the warning a day ahead of time.
Yeah, there aren't any network issues that pertain exclusively to the Nexus...which only lends credence to the belief that Verizon has pushed its release for other reasons.
And I'm assuming you are on 4.0.1 just like the demo unit I have played with a couple times already. When they finally launch the device, there will be an immediate ota update to 4.0.2 and I'm sure it addresses a few bugs. That's why they made it very clear that there would be an update so we would be aware of it and allow it to update. The phone will be much better when 4.0.2 pushes.

Help us out, what exactly does the phone do or display to indicate that a data drop is imminent.

the scary thing is its almost like what happened with iPhone except there isn't a specific way of holding it. You can be on it and see the arrows move and then you'll see a bar drop then another and then 3g drop and only solution I have found is a quick battery pull.. turning data on and off doesn't do it.

No that's not it.. my main concern has been the data.
On a positive note I got little over 9 hours of use today with it with brightness mid way. Watched YouTube clips on it
Another concern was NFL mobile. It downloaded and let me navigate but when it came to trying to watch redzone it said this device is not supported.
Also if you guys want a peak go to market and search vzw showcase and keep scrolling till u see the galaxy nexus showcase
Ahh okay. The camera comment was the last statement of your review/post, kind of like a conclusion. So it made it seem like the camera was your biggest concern.
Also, seems like the guys who got their phones today haven't had any issues with the data.
Not too worried about NFL mobile, don't use that.

I don't disagree that LTE issues may have caused the constant delays. However, you know the internet is when it comes to people posing as someone else, feeding misinformation and manipulating the masses. It's happened on the AC forums quite a bit, too.
So, if you don't mind, could you please post that picture proof of your Nexus which you mentioned you would do two days ago? I'd just like to be reassured that we are indeed getting legitimate information so we don't get confused by a troll. Thank you in advance.

Redzone takes awhile to get updated for new devices for some reason. I am sure they will fix it once the nexus is official.

Thanks for the confirmation. It's good enough for me as I'm not that cynical.
That said, have you been in contact with others who may or may not have shared your data issues? Your issues definitely seem serious enough to delay the device (not Google Wallet guys, come on). I just hope most of the issues are ironed out for a release this Thursday if not sooner. Just three more nights...
P.S. Wasn't kidding about the picture of your junk, i.e. your Anthony Weiner. Yeah, that's what it's called now. I should post that on Urban Dictionary.
Indeed, great timing. Although if you were having consistent data issues then it's not like you had to time anything anyway.
