VZW GneX gets really hot. 107'F WTH? Anyone else?

It scares me. Can the phone get messed up because of this? Any way to prevent this? I'm currently running 4.0.4

Well the current 4.0.4 update is only for the gsm Nexus. Since I'm assuming you flashed a rom, I can imagine the rom is the culprit. The 4.0.4 update has yet to be tailored for Verizon.

Mines get that hot. Its gone up to 104-6

I barely do anything w/ it. I could go check my Facebook page for five minutes and it will go up to 100.

I could make a phone call & speak for 10 minutes & it will go up to 102.

I am at a loss because this is my second phone.

Thanks for your response. I'm not sure if it'sflashed because I just traded my Bold for it on craigslist. So 4.0.4 isn't out for VZW? Damn. How can I tell if it's flashed? So does that mean my phone is rooted?

Yes it is rooted if you have the Cdma Verizon device.
It should have their name on it.

Is there anyway to unroot? What can I do with it since its rooted?
