VZW GNex vs. VZW S3

bet someone makes a case for the note 2 with a hand strap on the back :)
that would actually be pretty funny...

LOL yeah of course "they" say that to defend their (nice) little phone even though most of their base has wanted a larger phone since the 3g. If you don't use your phone as a phone very often I could see the note 2 filling a "phablet" niche (as it will), but I couldn't see most people excusing themselves from a business meeting and putting their laptop to their ear to answer a call:p My hands aren't gigantic but far from small and the note feels awkward. I'm betting the note 2 will as well. I can use a 4.7"-ish device one handed without loss of functionality or fear of dropping it.

If Darwin was right, humans will eventually have longer thumbs..... :D

Heh, It's already happening:
The report, titled On the Mobile, has labeled today?s teenagers ?The Thumb Generation.? Cell phones are often used by the younger generation to send text messages by typing with their thumbs on the phone?s keypad. Believe it or not, this has had a profound effect on the way teenagers use their thumbs. Thumb dexterity has improved so much that some teenagers now point and even ring doorbells with their thumb instead of their forefinger.

Same price at Wirefly/New Egg + media dock. I can wait 30 days to save $30 I've waited 2 years.

Last time I was in Best Buy it was free, but that was 2 or 3 weeks ago. Still if you want it cheap it is worth going to check out.

My guess is that it was for new contracts not upgrades.

Often the pricing for new and upgrades are pretty different, but it does look like BB has the same $ for both.

Don't mean to bump this, but this question doesn't really deserve a new thread - Why is the VZW site listing the VZW GNex as being 16GB? Are they just wrong or is there actually 16GB versions. If I'm going to go this route I'll want the 32GB - guessing/hoping it's just an error.

As far as I know, the GSM version is 16GB, and Verizon's is 32GB.

Question: How's the reception between the two phones? Is one better than the other?
