Hey guys,

I rooted my Verizon HTC One, and I installed the CWM recovery. I backed up my stock rom, and I installed a custom one. All was well until my phone randomly rebooted, and I was suddenly stuck in roaming. I re-installed my backup, and I'm still stuck in roaming. I've tried everything I can think of, but I'm at a loss.

Is there a way to go completely back to stock, unrooted?
Is there a way to flash radio files?

What are my options?

Thanks,

Matt

I'm assuming you've tried go into settings > mobile data > preferred network and make sure you have CDMA LTE selected. Mime has changed a few times going from ROM to ROM, not sure why.

What rom did you flash? Are you sure it was for a vzw phone?
You can always relock the bootloader and use a RUU to go back to stock

I too am having the same issue. I flashed multiple roms over the past week.. had no issues until I flashed a kit Kat 4.4 Rom. I had no problem on the 4.4 Rom. It was not a daily driver so I flashed back to a 4.2 rom. Stuck in voice roaming ever sense. I guess I don't understand why reverting back to my nandroid wouldn't fix this issue..so what do iI do now?? Go back to stock?? Problem is my phone identity is only half there.. looks like software files were deleted some how?

MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ROM AND INTERNAL SD CARD FIRST!!!You need to flash the stock ROM. Then flash the stock recovery IMG. Do a factory reset in recovery. That is the only way to fix the issue. If you flashed the latest cm11 made by flyhalf then you MUST use the recovery he provides with the ROM. I think it is the latest cwm.
