Hate the new update. Looks like a 12 year old designed this. Internet lags half the setting don't really work. Took away some of the best features to replace it with one's most people will never use. Added button at bottom that I can't get rid of on top of making them look like my nephews play phone buttons.Lost music control on lock screen, can't change background on lock screen. Can't have multiple internet tabs open at once . battery from full charge lasted only 5 hrs. Wtf ready to throw my phone at wall.

I think you need to play around with it some more. Multiple Internet tabs is still there, check settings in Chrome. Lock screen wallpaper is very much changeable. Battery life was an issue for me too, but I've fixed I it now on my phone. Takes a little elbow grease.

You can still change buttons at the bottom, just a little different way to do it in settings.

Don't know why you can't use music controls on lock screen, mine are still there with Google Music. Maybe you are using something different and may be another settings thing.

As stated above have to change settings in Chrome for multi window, it's still there.

Don't know about the battery, I didn't have that problem. Might try a factory reset if it doesn't straighten out.

Since I got lollipop WiFi comes on by itself when I have it off & I can't see how to keep it off.

I broke down and reset my g2 back to factory everything is good the battery life is not as good and it seams to take longer to charge but everything works and some thing better no more delayed texts and people saying they could not hear on phone call

I doubt you will get it OTA. I am on Straight Talk and I used Verizon Software Upgrade Assistant. Worked like a champ. You should be able to run it via USB connection. The installer resides on the phone.
