...1st if you don't believe that sounds like a personal issuew/ you.....
Maybe you don't quite grasp what I was referring to. What I took issue w/ had little to do with you, it was the words you stated that came out of that employees mouth stating that you could pre-order the device before the release. We all read alot of rumors and poor info. in forums before Verizon releases many phones. Seeing what you wrote irked me cuz, to my understandining, that's a total bs statement from either one or both of you. From what I've been told that's not a possible scenario.
?Check my past post before calling a person a liar.
What revelations would I uncover in your previous posts to show me that would've changed my reply ? Is it that in the past, you've conversed with some
Verizon employees in the past, most recently of which, was in a store at some mall in NC. I don't care who you spoke with or heard from, on this, my position stands because it regards longstanding policies that are in place regarding unreleased units. What you did, said or might've informed people of in the past has jack squat to do w/ what I'm saying to you in this thread at present.
I'd like to point out, for the record, as to your claim of me calling you a liar, do you have a link to share? I'd love ro aee it cuz I'm having trouble finding it myself. Good luck w/that. Those weren't my fingers that keyed in those 4 letters on the screen before you. I simply stated I didn't believe that story occurred as you stated, and still don't. I'll watch my language, if you don't put words in my mouth, deal?
The rep showed me it in the system and said that I can pre-order it.
I took issue because I was informed by a former VzW rep., a close friend, who I used to nag about hooking me up w/ products, before he moved on to greener pastures. So I'm sure we can verify this with a simple phone call to a contact from HR @ VzW, if need be. Only administrative level personnel can access the databasebe for pre orders, at the moment. So there is no way in he!!, someone working at a retail store in a mall in NC could access what is required for submission. There are preventative measures built in the software for VzW that block access to all but select employees untill a specific chain of events take place. Which remains blocked until an announcement is made detailing when the beginning of an online, in-store or both, time period will commence via whatever channels they deemed suitable for launch. Once that info. is announced, it is then lifted and pre orders can take place. It was put in place so that the vast majority of employees cannot give preferential treatment to others, be it a customer, friend or family member.
So no matter what product page(s), SKUs in the inventory etc., he's shown you. Even if release info. is made internally known to employees about the pending release before it's public knowledge. A preorder cannot be entered into their database for consumer dispersal until the block is removed and that has NOT happened yet. Care to enlighten me how he managed to do this? I know a girl from HR would love to be made aware of this purported breach of a company policy. Guarantee your next visit w/ this rep. won't be in a Verizon store.
That is when I ask him why isn't the GB listed he did not know...I ask him if I pre ordered it and it was a 16GB can I get my money back because I want 32GB. I was told that I will loose my pre-order money maybe one of you guys can tell me if this is true or not. If I am going to pay close to $300 for something I want what I pre-ordered.
It might just be me but this seems to be a very questionable statement. Why would you ask someone for confirmation here, regarding, that policy about losing your $300 if you got that answer from the horses mouth, in this case a trusted Verizon employee, to your ears already? Why would he lie to you about that, if he's "trustworthy"? Do you doubt the person you say is reliable? Care to shed light on this?
P.S. Just a reminder to you also just in case you still think I am lying. If it is on the web site it is in Verizon's system...
Again, at no time did I ever state you weren't shown something about the GN by someone. In fact, you're absolutely correct, you are not lying, the device and several related sku entries are in their system right now. What is in there is for inventory reference, at the moment, not consumer dispersal. They can't process preorder requests based on the info. that is available to them, yet. So put that in you're pipe and smoke it instead of acting like Mr. Know it all.
