Update: Verizon has since sent the following statement to Engadget: "As we said earlier this week, we are testing AppFlash to make app discovery better for consumers. The test is on a single phone – LG K20 V – and you have to opt-in to use the app. Or, you can easily disable the app. Nobody is required to use it. Verizon is committed to your privacy. Visit Privacy Policies | Verizon to view our Privacy Policy."
If that's the case, that app will definitely be disabled upon arrival.
Same here. It helps if you also turn off the use of background data for it. Since I did that I haven't gotten it's crashed message.I have an LG V6 from Verizon and I did not opt in and I disabled it in App Manager, but I constantly get application crashed messages for it. Very, very annoying.
