If you are on Verizon, your choice for flagship android comes down to Note 4 and Droid Turbo.

For those of you that considered the Note 4 and made the choice to go Droid Turbo instead, Why?
I had a moto x, so I know how clean the OS in on the Droid vs Touchwiz on the Note 4.
However, if you actually considered buying the Note 4 instead of the turbo, that means should be Ok with Touchwiz.

I am looking for reasons Why you went DT over the Note without Touchwiz being the reason.
Both "stock" experience And Touchwiz have their positives and negatives.

Camera, yes I have looked at the "post your pictures here" forums. Hard to tell...
Note 4 takes great photos but the over sharpening can be a turn off occasionally.

The only other phone I have considered is the Sony Z3v. Seems to get bashes from people that don't own it, and Loved by everyone who buys it. Not to mention, I have never had a Sony phone and was curios...

also, I just can't find a need for the S pen, so that part isn't important to me either.
I do Love the size and color on the screen, and the fantastic camera.

Thanks :D

I went to place my pre order for the note 4 with at&t and then found out they wouldn't let me end my contract 2 months early. I told them where to go and went home.

I started researching more on the note 4 and discovered a new droid was coming out. I checked out the specs and reviews on past droids and found out it delivers a stock Android instead of touchwiz bogging it down. I wanted it immediately. No other reason. I HATED touchwiz on my galaxy. It was the worst thing ever. My phone was so slow.

So that's the main reason I went for the droid. I told myself I'd better be happy with everything else.

(yes I know the moto x does have near stock as well, but I always wanted a droid!)

For me it's two things. First, the physical size of the note 4 is way too big. Second, I greatly prefer the close to stock android build that Motorola uses, as well as the extra features of moto voice, moto display, and assist driving mode and sleep time automatic silencing the way Motorola does it.

I suppose I could live with a note 4 but I'd buy an iPhone 6 before I'd buy a phone as large as the note 4.

This has been discussed at great length and detail many many times in this forum. I'm not discouraging the discussion here, but those that have already contributed their opinion, my not be inclined to do so again, so the OP may wish to search and find those additional opinions since the input would be valuable to him.

Also, every time you write the subject when you create a new thread it does a search to show possible other threads where that subject may have been discussed before at the bottom, under the body. I wish more people would check those before they post something that's been posted before.

Good advice, but I think mayconvert gets a pass because of this qualifier:

I am looking for reasons Why you went DT over the Note without Touchwiz being the reason.

The three phones mentioned in the OP, Note 4, Turbo, and Z3v were the three phones I seriously considered. I briefly considered the Galaxy S5.

Touchwiz was my #1 reason for discarding the Note 4, BUT there was also the physical size of the unit, and the build quality (and with build quality, hand feel.) The Note 4 might be a more solid feeling unit than the S5, but it feels cheap and flimsy compared to the Turbo (and the Z3v.) Also the battery life came into play and while I understand the Note 4 has a decent battery, I like BIG BATTERIES. I just don't ever want to be in a situation where I've been using my phone a lot and it's late afternoon or early evening and I need a charge. This has happened to me in the past and I don't like the feeling.
