VZW_DROID.mp3 can't be deleted????????

I have recently rooted my Dinc and was interested n using my own personal wav instead of the standard Dooid file.

Needles to say that I have not been able to remove, replace or overwrite using astrofile on my phone.

Does anyone have the information as how to accomplish this?

I am rather a newbie at this but I have a pretty solid understanding of how i think things should work .

I suggest dropping any audio file on the sdcard. Then go into Notifications and use "Music" to browse to the new file.

Are you talking about the boot animation sound? You will need a file explorer that gives you deeper system access then Astro. Root Explorer is the best one IMO.
