VZWAVServices has stopped error message

My phone has been doing same thing... 1st that error msg then fast draining of battery and phone playing dead when its really not dead... I have samsung galaxy S3 and verizon sent me new phone but its doing the same thing... I never know when phone will just randomly shutoff and play dead so constantly have to charge it... when it does shut off only way I can get it back on is to put on charger then when it comes on shows battery is still decently charged... wtf is up with it?

That one's got me stumped. I get that same error message that you do but don't get the major battery drain at all. My phone also doesn't act like yours with it randomly shutting off. It sounds like it may something with the actual hardware on the phone. Get with Verizon:s support department and they should be able to help you troubleshoot your phone and see if you might need to have them send you another replacement phone.
