I just got my Galaxy Note3 also, and I'm wondering if I should get the Galaxy Gear or wait on the Galaxy Gear2 as well? ($249.99 Amazon. Today 3/2).....decisions, decisions.

You can grab the original Gear for roughly $150 these days - just look on kijiji etc. Can't beat that, imo.

Best Buy will match AT&T's price as well, in case you prefer to buy there. I just bought mine a couple a days ago and Best Buy matched the $199 AT&T offer.

That's a hell of a sale. I got mine brand new for $180 CDN, which was around 172 usd at the time, and now you can find them all over the place for 150....

Yes, I think I did ok. I originally paid $300 for it, was not going to sell it for half the price after 1.5 month use. From some buyers' point of view, no tax, less travel, no waiting, no hassle, no time searching for online deals, plus screen protector, and no scratch and dent $225 is worth it.

Well just to be fair to JasW, many things about the latest and greatest have been speculations and rumors, and often are overly exaggerated based on wishful thinking.

Yes, but to be fair, it was true!! The guy got all worked up when I told him Gear 2 would be announced end of Feb in Barcelona.
