Waiting for wifi - weird Youtube upload issue

When i try to upload HD videos to youtube it says larger video files can only be uploaded via Wifi. Thats smart i'm ok with that. BUT it goes into my notifications pull down and says

Waiting for WiFi.

And it never starts....just sits there. Tried turning wifi on and off to no avail. So I decided to let it sit for a while. Got a phone call from my wife and bang....starts uploading.

Next video same problem....waiting for wifi.

Wife calls....bang uploading begins. Is it just me? am i doing something wrong?

I guess ill just have to call my wife every time I want to upload a video

maybe your wife put some kinda app on there that lets her know when your mailing out :videos: lol

I just figured out the problem, yay!

Fishing around on my android phone. I found a menu. I'm pretty sure it was within the youtube app, the menu was settings. Then under settings, you go to "general." Under that you will see an option called "uploads." Select uploads. Then there should be 2 options.

Only when on Wi-Fi
On any network

Select "On any network" and you should be good to go! *thumbs up*

My video started uploading immediately.
