Well, forget the previous suggestion - BetterBatteryStats requires root in order to give you any really useful information, including kernel and partial wakelocks.

I can't complain about the current battery life so I'll wait until someone with more of a need decides to check this out.

You could try something like https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...etails?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm.pro&token=XhA_kEdr (there's also a free version) to get a better view of what's going on with battery life, but the stock Settings -> Battery view does show useful information, particularly when you look at the History details (touch the graph to see that screen).

well i suppose i'll try that out, if in fact i do see the wake lock issue,, but thankfully all is well and good with the battery usage so no complaints just yet. thanks.
